Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and technically minded Event Design & Visualization Specialist with a

minimum of 5 years of experience in the Audio Visual and Live Events industry. This position

focuses on the creation and visualization of stage environments for corporate live events through

concept development, 2D technical drawings, and high-quality 3D renderings.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of event production environments, visual

presentation standards, and staging concepts. This role is responsible for translating client

requirements into visual designs, producing presentation-ready renderings, and generating accurate

equipment quotations within the company's rental management software system based on

approved designs.

This position is ideal for a creative visualizer who enjoys transforming ideas into compelling

event environments. You will play a key role in shaping the look and feel of corporate live

events while ensuring designs are accurately translated into equipment quotes and executable

production plans.

 

Key Responsibilities :

● Design and visualize stage sets, scenic elements, and event environments for corporate meetings, conferences, general sessions, and special events.

● Create detailed 2D technical drawings including floor plans, stage layouts, elevations, and event space diagrams.

● Develop photorealistic 3D renderings and visual presentations to communicate design concepts to clients and internal teams.

● Interpret client needs and event objectives to create engaging and practical stage designs.

● Collaborate with Sales, Production, Project Management, Creative Department, and Operations teams during the proposal and planning process.

● Create equipment lists based on approved designs and renderings.

● Populate and maintain equipment quotes within our company's rental software management system.

● Ensure equipment selections align with design intent, inventory availability, and budget requirements.

● Revise drawings, renderings, and equipment lists as project scopes evolve.

● Maintain organized project documentation and design files.

● Stay current on corporate event design trends, staging techniques, and visualization technologies.

 

Required Qualifications:

● Minimum 5 years of experience in the Audio Visual, Event Production, or Live Events industry.

● Experience designing stage environments for corporate events.

● Proficiency creating 2D technical drawings, floor plans, venue layouts, stage elevations, and 3D renderings.

● Experience with design and visualization software such as Vectorworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, RenderNow, Cinema 4D, or similar platforms.

● Strong understanding of live event production environments and corporate event workflows.

● Ability to interpret client concepts and transform them into clear visual designs.

● Strong organizational, project management, communication, and collaboration skills.

● High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with rental and inventory management software systems.

● Knowledge of scenic construction, staging methods, and executable production planning.

● Experience creating client-facing presentations and proposal materials.

● Familiarity with additional visualization tools such as Soundvision, Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, or similar platforms.

Work Environment & Collaboration:

comfortable balancing creative concept development with practical production requirements,

budget considerations, and equipment availability.

Physical Requirements:

● Ability to conduct venue walkthroughs and site surveys as needed.

● Occasional travel to event venues and client locations.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced event production environment.

● Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs.
